Learning & Development Manager (ref: 2107)

Your role

  • You drive and deliver the set strategy in learning & development.
  • You optimize, implement and run various learning methods; theory is currently largely offered through e-learning, cases through face to face learning.
  • You evaluate individual and organizational development needs.
  • You help managers develop their team members.
  • You roll out the installation of a Learning Management System.
  • You support the design and review of learning activities.
  • You coach trainers and support dry runs of the training courses.
  • You take care of the administration and review of the training reviews and a qualitative processing of data and reporting.
  • You track budgets and negotiate contracts.
  • You are supported by an HR Officer, and you report to the HR Director.

Your profile

  • You have a proven track record as Learning & Development Consultant/Manager or similar.
  • You have current knowledge of effective learning and development methods.
  • You are familiar with e-learning practices and platforms.
  • You are proficient in Learning Management Systems.
  • You have excellent communication and negotiation skills and sharp business acumen.
  • You are strong in planning, setting priorities and coordinating.
  • Having prior experience in an engineering environment is a plus.
  • You are fluent in Dutch, French and English.

Practical

  • Contract type: freelance
  • Duration: 6 months
  • Work regime: 4 days a week or full-time
  • Location: Head office is located in West Flanders. Workplace is possible at various places in Flanders. Work is currently largely done remotely.
