Context
- Our client wants to evolve within the HR department towards smooth and lean workflows and personnel administration for intake (recruitment & selection, onboarding, ...), progress (learning & development, performance management, ...) and outflow (retirement, dismissal, secondment, ...) with a fast, accurate and transparent reporting.
- Via - among other initiatives - improved HR workflows, they aim to create a positive impact on the time, energy and motivation of managers and staff.
Approach
This assignment requires a focused and neutral approach from someone with a broad knowledge of HR processes and a solid experience in process optimization. Approach:
- Map the current flow of all existing processes (AS IS) and design the desired 'lean HR' situation in terms of processes and software applications (TO BE).
- Develop a proposal in collaboration with the general manager, the HR team and everyone involved, that can be submitted to the Executive Committee for decision.
- Implement the proposal in collaboration with the HR team and other teams involved.
Your role
- You map the needs of the various stakeholders, formulate concrete proposals and define the scope.
- You map processes and facilitate a thorough analysis, identify possible obstacles and take action to avoid them.
- You translate the scope into a plan of action and plan the resources, in consultation with the general manager and the HR team.
- You continuously follow-up the scope, planning and budget.
- You draw up a communication plan for the various stakeholders and roll it out, in close cooperation with the general manager.
- You stimulate a good cooperation within the project team and provide the necessary communication flows.
Your profile
- You have multiple years of experience in an HRM context.
- You have proven expertise within project management and change management roles.
- You have a solid knowledge of process management and optimization, and of digitizing processes.
- You have a good knowledge of social legislation and payroll.
- You are a fluent communicator, with excellent relational skills.
- You are able to work in systematic, structured way.
- Knowledge of/experience with SAP is an advantage.
- Affinity with the higher education sector is a plus.
- You speak and write perfectly Dutch.

- Work regime: 2 to 3 days a week
- Duration: 6 to 9 months
- Location: Brussels and home office, with occasional relocations to different locations in Flanders.
