Marianne Geervliet reinforces Balance HR as HR Partner
Brussels, 1 April 2019 – Marianne Geervliet is joining Balance HR as an HR Partner. She will guide organisations that are looking for temporary HR support or advice. Marianne’s addition to the team also marks a new step forward in the growth of the network.
Marianne is focusing on strong matches between HR freelancers and organisations, ensuring the follow-up of these collaborations. She is combining this role with her own Balance HR projects. In doing so, just like her fellow HR Partners, Marianne will be keeping her finger on the pulse of the HR world.
‘I’m very enthusiastic about this step,’ says Marianne. ‘Balance HR is an open collective that performs its business activities, but also works with starting entrepreneurs from disadvantaged groups. What Balance HR does is socially relevant and, to the greatest extent possible, based on scientific findings. I believe strongly in the positive impact of this approach.’
Marianne has a solid background in HR. In recent years, she was Compensation & Benefits and Mobility Consultant at Mercer. Prior to this, she performed management and sales functions and was active in recruitment and selection with HR service agencies Robert Half, Adecco and Accent.
According to Managing Partner Edward Vanhoutte, Marianne truly embodies the style of Balance HR: ‘Marianne tackles her work with a constructive and well-founded approach. She is always happy to share her knowledge. She represents the collaborative spirit that is indicative of who we are.
‘I’m especially pleased that Marianne has come on board,’ continues Edward. ‘Her expertise, drive and social involvement will undoubtedly contribute to our impact and that of the people with whom we collaborate.’
In recent years, Balance HR has become a permanent fixture in the HR interim management sector, with 2018 proving to be a record year. With the hiring of Marianne Geervliet, the company is set to continue growing. Balance HR will thus keep investing in learning initiatives for HR professionals. In the meantime, the organisation still has an eye out for extra HR Partners.
